Is it legal to use business contact data from Find-Lead?
Yes. Find-Lead indexes only publicly available business contact information — the same data that appears on company websites, professional directories, press releases, and official filings. Using this data for legitimate B2B outreach is legal in most jurisdictions. Users are responsible for complying with local laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL when sending communications.

Finding Leads & Contacts
How do I find someone's business email address?
Use the Email Checker and enter the person's company domain. Find-Lead looks up known email patterns for that company and returns verified addresses. You can also search by company name in the Companies section and browse contacts for that organization directly.
What is the difference between B2B and B2C leads on Find-Lead?
B2B (business-to-business) lead pages show decision-makers and professionals at companies — useful for sales outreach, recruiting, and partnerships. B2C pages show consumer-facing companies in the same industry — useful when you are targeting businesses that sell to end consumers and want to pitch to them as a vendor.
How often is the data updated?
The contact database is refreshed weekly. Company records are re-crawled and email addresses are re-verified on a rolling basis to remove stale data caused by job changes, company rebrands, or domain migrations.
Can I export leads to a CSV or spreadsheet?
Yes. CSV export is available for registered users. Bulk export options with larger list sizes are part of paid plans.
Email Verification
How accurate is the email verification?
Our multi-step verification checks syntax, domain DNS records, MX mail server existence, and SMTP deliverability — all without sending an actual email. This catches the majority of invalid, misspelled, or non-deliverable addresses. Catch-all domains are flagged separately since individual mailbox validity cannot be confirmed for them.
Does the email checker send a test email?
No. Verification uses DNS and SMTP handshake responses only — no message is delivered to the inbox. Your check is completely invisible to the recipient.
What does "catch-all domain" mean?
A catch-all domain accepts any incoming email regardless of whether the specific mailbox exists. SMTP verification cannot confirm the individual address — only that the domain accepts mail. These are flagged as "risky" rather than invalid. Many catch-all addresses still deliver, but bounce rates may be higher.
How many emails can I verify for free?
Without an account you can verify up to 5 emails. Creating a free account increases your daily limit, saves your verification history, and removes ads. Higher-volume bulk checks are available on paid plans.
Can I verify emails in bulk?
Yes. Bulk verification and API access are available for registered users. Upload a list and receive results in batch. Large-volume processing is part of paid plans.
Data & Privacy
How does Find-Lead collect data?
We crawl publicly available sources: professional directories, company websites, job postings, press releases, and official government filings (SEC, state business registries). Only business contact information that is already publicly listed is indexed.
Do you store the emails I verify?
For registered users, verification history is saved so you can review past checks and export results. We do not sell or share your submitted email lists with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I remove my information from Find-Lead?
Submit a removal request on the Delete Your Data page. Requests are processed within 30 days and matching records are removed from our active database and search index.
Is there an API?
